Hi everyone,
I'm having an running issue with my 04 MCS. It does'nt run bad, as in no misfiring,flat spots,cutting out and does not set any codes, just feels sluggish at times. I have 70000 miles on the odo,did spark plugs about 5k ago.Now here's the part I dont understand. I did a ECU reset using the speedometer reset button. It ran great for five days than went back to its old ways. I than did a fuel injection cleaning using a system that draws a cleaner into the intake manifold and an additive to the fuel tank. It ran much better after doing this, I again reset the ECM, this time it ran great for about 4-5 weeks before it started running on the sluggish side again? It seems like it can't hold a proper tune very long. Any MINI tech's out there have any ideas? Thanks in advance for any advice.
