Canadian parts store?

Hello...

I'm looking for a 2003 Cooper rear right side brake caliper, but all I could find was from U.S. stores and they don't ship to Canada or shipping cost is more than the actual caliper's cost. :( Calipers are less than $100.

I tried some canadian online parts stores but they don't have the part I need.

Is there any place I can get the caliper?

I know that I can get it from the dealer but they would charge more than $300 part and $150+ labour.

Thanks.

Have you tried www.car-part.com?

I just did a quick search and there's quite a few in Ontario with a price range of $55 - $125 for the caliper.

The car is listed as a BMW Mini Cooper on the site. I've used this site a few times for my other cars and it's been great. You'll have to use the image selection to find the caliper because the caliper doesn't seem to be listed with the regular parts.

Hope that helps..

Have you tried autopartsway.ca or bimmerspecialist.ca?

I've used autopartsway but that site carries a lot of aftermarket replacement parts and I found it good for things like filters, wipers, spark plugs etc..

For mechanical parts like calipers I'd either buy used or new OEM spec from a dealer or a junk yard.

Thanks all. I checked autopartsway.ca but they don't have the caliper in stock. I tried local brake shop and they found a rebuilt caliper for reasonable price.
Thanks again for the responses.
