Transmission OR Sticky Pedal?

I got a 2004 automatic. and it has the CVT tranny.

never drove one before so dont know it its suppose to feel like this?

it kinda has an un even accell.

also when i floor it (so where the pedal clicks at the end)
it goes fine but at high RPM when it changes gears its very rough. like its trying to find a gear? its not ONE rough gear change.. it kinda goes back and forth then changes gears.

is this normal or tranny going out? lol

thanks

How many miles are on the tranny? Mine is an '03 with 47k...it used to buck, but I put a TSW engine damper on and it seems to have stopped that aspect except when it's cold.

I've noticed that when I tracked the car, the tranny would shift in and out in the "S" mode, so then I started using the shifter more, instead.
