How to replace tail light

So the tail light went out on my 2004 MC. So I open up the compartment in the back and reach my hand in there and am clueless on what to remove in order to remove the bulb. Is there a bolt or anything that I need to remove? Is it a single bulb that I remove or do I need to remove the whole assembly? Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated. Currently I am only able to drive my car during the day since the back tail light is out.

See posts #2 & #3 on this thread.
You have to remove the tail light, then the bulb bracket snaps out of the tail light assembly.

You can remove the bulb bracket without removing the tail light. You should be able to replace the bulb without using tools.

For easier access, first disconnect the wire harness from the tail light. Then for an '04, remove the bulb bracket by releasing a horizontal tab below the connector (on an '05+, there are two vertical tabs near the sides of the connector).
