When I told the dealer the suspension wasn't right at 14k they told me it was loose lug nuts, and they "Fully inspected suspension, no fault found.

Then when I had it in for service once I had taken off the wheel to replace the tires and was able to see the problem....
I was called first thing in the morning to be told that if there was a problem with the suspension it happened after I had it in for service 9,xxx ago...

They ate there own words with that one, since they called me back 2 hours later to let me know it was the suspension block....

Much bad on their part for sure, but you never noticed your MINI sat 1-2" taller than all the other ones? That's some extreme wheel gap when they are in.

I bet the ride sucked.

Yeah it was really bad... I never thought that's why it looked like I lowered my car when I put the 17s on....

I did end up getting a free set of tires from the dealer... And an alignment...

I guess going from a 2000 park avenue to the mini made the difference less noticable

Had the same thing happen on my dad's car, it was probably 2 months before we figured it out, couldn't figure out why the front end sat up higher than other MCS did lol
