Clutch squeak/screech

Clutch squeak/screech
08 MCS.
Wierd noise coming from the clutch.
Funny thing is, its very intermittent. Firstly, it only happens in instances where I have to 'ride' the clutch - like in traffic or if I'm inching out of a parking spot. Other thing is, it happens mainly in wet weather. Sometimes I go days without hearing it.
It's at the bottom end, as I'm releasing the clutch. Almost screech like, very noticeable.
Any ideas as to what might be wrong? Have a dealer appt booked for next week.
Not sure if it's related but I also have the cold start issue - rattly sound for about 30 seconds.
EDIT: Did some reading, seems to be an issue with the 1st gens. Burned clutch plate maybe?

1st gen and 2nd gen LuK clutches (non-JCW) and dual-mass flywheels are identical.
Sounds like a glazed flywheel, exacerbated by "riding" the clutch as you say. They are prone to this problem. Do a search on the 1st gen forum "chewbacca noise."
If glazed bad, they HAVE to replaced; dmfs cannot be trued. Oh and whatever you do, no not mention the word "riding" to the dealer, or U may have to foot the very pricey bill...
FYI the cold start noise is a completely different animal.
