HELLO CAN ANYONE AID ME, MY MINI WONT SPRAY WATER OUT OF THE REAR WASHER, THE FRONT IS OK, I HAVE POKED THE WASHER AT THE REAR BUT NO WATER, WHERE DOES THE WASHER TUBE RUN, HOW DO I GET AT IT? I PRESUME ITS BLOCKED ANY HELP GREATFULLY RECIEVED THANKS
Seems like I might have had the same situation for a short time last year. I'm pretty sure I had washer fluid in the reservoir and that the tubing was intact. Somehow, it resolved itself. Not a good answer, but a good ending. Hope you get it resolved soon!
The tube actually runs through the wiper shaft and can be accessed by removing the two screws on the inside of the hatch(by the roadside assistance sticker) and pulling and popping off the panel.
You have to remove the inner boot trim and investigate. Don't forget to remove the two screws on the thinner trip that hold up the strings to that big piece of felt insulation that comes with all current 2nd gen. coopers. Just pull hard and straight out from the panels.
I too have removed my wiper and plugged it. Definitely more sexy!
Use a can of compressed air to blow what ever is clogging the tube.
Place the tube over the hole and give it a couple of short bursts.
You should be able to get a can at any office supply store or best buy.
