When I shut off my car for hours at a time, the CD that I was playing resumes back to the beginning of the track instead of picking up where I left off.

Also, is there a way to display the song timer instead of just the track number?
I looked in the cd player / audio manual and didn't see anything about this option.

It will go back to the start of the track if you don't use it for an hour or so. It won't show a track timer. Sounds like yours is working properly.

The only way you'd see a track timer is if you had the nav system.

 

is there a fast forward on the Cd player? I cant seem to find the right button? I Have the silver CD player...
