DSC Light stays on after going fast until restart

I am having issues with my DSC light deactivating after I get on it after 2nd up to about 100 and not turning off until I restart the car. I was not having this problem until it was cold out 14F and getting about 19psi. I usaly get 17.5 when its warm. I recently had the absolute manifold pressure sensor fail and I was hoping thats why this was happening but it isn't. So I did some research and according to some people they say its cause your getting to much boost in the colder temp. but I thought it was above 19 psi which I guess I could be getting more because I am not starring at it over 100mph. I also thought maybe the cars telling me good luck you idot, theres ice out there.

Please help, car is out of warranty and I would like to fix this before something fails completely like the TMAPsensor did. I could have fixed that problem ahead of time but I was not thinking and ignored the code thinking it was a glich and had to pay the dealership top dollar for a 15min. job that I could have done for 75$.

Thanks

Find someone with a scan tool and scan for codes while the light is lit... you *may* have to find someone with a scanner that can read extended BMW/MINI codes like AutoEnginuity.

OK I did that an got a pending code of P0108 High Input code and that is the problem I had before and the sensor was replaced. I looked at the boost gauge this time and it was above 20psi and its 9f out. I cycled the key 3 times and the pending code was gone. I think its too much boost with it being this cold out, so its throwing a code. What do you think.

Sounds probable. That's lots of boost for an MCS.

during the summer its only 17.5psi at about 70-max. With it being cold in buffalo the air is more dense.
