Stop the DING!ing (not the usual topic)
I just had a weird episode in Tristan, he dinged at me as usual before I buckled up, but then he didn't shut up. I even turned him off and pulled the key and he still kept on dinging. The only fault code he was showing was low fuel, which should cause one ding, not a constant stream of them.
I thought I'd try to get back home and pull the battery connector, to see if that would stop it. However, the DING!! gets seriously annoying, so I stopped for gas. Still dinging after pulling the key.
Sometime during the fill up he stopped DING!ing and I can have my sanity back.
Anyone have a problem like that?

Yep, see this thread
Just kinda reset and went away after the oddity. Don't really know why, though I did have the service dept. check it out when I took it in and nothing turned up that I can remember.

Mine has been dinging more lately. It seems it is related to the seatbelt, but there is some delay sometimes. I DESPISE the bug that if I drive it long enough with the seatbelt unfastened the f*cking chiming will not stop even when I put it in park! The other day I shut the car off and took out the FOB and the chiming kept going for 30 seconds!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH Sorry, I had to vent...
