I took my car to the dealership after hearing a squeal when depressing the clutch, was told they won't know the problem until they take it apart. However, if it's wear and tear and abuse, I will have to choke up $4000 for a new clutch!

Needless to say, I told them to give me the car back and I will be going elsewhere. Well on my way home, I started to smell that clutch burn smell along with a really foul stick I can not pin point. The car would not accelerate too well and the RPM started to jump. Keep in mind the car only made a noise when I brought it in and drove fine.

Did I just burn my clutch and now they are going to claim it was abuse?
I am really starting to hate this car!

It is a 2009 MCS with 14k miles on it.
