Silver, metalic fluid leak.

Yesterday I saw a few drops of fluid left from under my car. This morning there is a significant puddle. The leak is near the driver's side (left) just inside the wheel. It is silvery metalic looking. Any ideas as to what this is?

Thanks,
Bill

Well, I took it to the shop a couple days ago and we put the car up on the lift to see what it was. There's a hole in my transmission!!! It is coming through from the inside out. So, in a few days and $5,700 later, I get a new transmission, clutch, front seal, oil pan gasket, front-end suspension parts, etc. Might as well get it all fixed at the same time.

Ouch. Anytime there's a metallic look to your leak. it's not good. Sorry.

I guess I only posted it as bad news. I should say the good news is that the ride, handling, and shifting will be like new!!

I've never seen anyone so positive after spending $5,700.
