EML Light on

EML Light on
I have a 2006 MCS with a 15% pulley, cai, exhaust and a tune. All these
have been on the car for three years. Yesterday the EML light comes on;
car still runs great, idles right, no issues but the light. Do I have to be
concerned for it going into limp mode or anything else? After I shut off
the motor and turn it back on the light goes out for aprox. five minutes
and then comes back on. Car has 60,000 miles on it. Thanks for your
help.

If its broke fix it...
If I recall correctly the owners manual says the EML light is for the electronic management system. I suppose it could be emissions, but it could be a lot of other things. ???? You should find someone with a scan tool or have a reputable shop run a diagnostic to try and identify the reason the light is on....
