well it started about a week ago.
came home late one night and when i turned off the ing. removed the key and opened the door the head light gong came on. the light switch was in the off position.
the left turn signal lamp was stuck on(constant on ,not flashing.
i restarted the car, but when i shut it off, the same problem.
it took two or three trys to get it to stop.
then the next day , when i drove the car , i turned on the raido and the volumn was low and would not turn up. the voulmn **** or the volumn or chanel cont. on the steering wheel made no difference.
the sun roof would not open eather.
this stayed the same for two days, then on the third day when i drove the car, everything worked fine, untill i turned the car off. when i restarted the car the raido would not work, but the sun roof was ok.
this has repeated with three times everything worked, but most times the raido and sun roof did not work.
any one have this problem or have any ideas what is going on?

 

Maybe the wiring harness is loose/chafed....
Or the BCM (body control module) is on the way out...
It is odd....I'd check all the grounds too....
One more thought...how old is the battery? Sometimes these cars do odd things just before the battery fails...

Thanks ZippyNH; i will check the grounds. the battery is old, it is about time to replace it anyway. so i may try that.

 

With all the electronics on these cars, I have read of some odd things happenings, all attributed to a battery, usually with a bad cell, that while good enough to start the car, will drive the electroics and the buess that the electronic stuff speak through crazy with voltage changes.
