rpm's slightly rising when i push on clutch

rpm's slightly rising when i push on clutch
Hey guys, i have a 2003 mcs with about 57000 miles on it, recently my car has started to act a little wierd when i push on my clutch to change gears, the rpm's rise up a bit, what could this be?
