Passanger seat broken

The passenger seat is broken and has been for a while. Now I have to Motor alone. So I am looking for a new front passenger seat for my 2005 (Is it really 5 years old) MCS with black leatherette.

Anyone know on out there?

What are the symptoms? There are some simple fixes running around out there for certain seat anomalies (e.g., seat back stuck in the leaning-forward position).

It was looked at by mini and they said that the frame is bent and I need a new seat. Well they said I need a new seat frame. But I figured I'd just get a whole seat.

Its stuck in the lean forward position and it wont go back any further than the first click. So now sitting there means an awful lean forward.

This is why I hate my mini. Issues like a seat that break. Who ever heard of a seat breaking...as a known issue.

Before you accept your SA's explanation lock, stock, and barrel I suggest you carefully read through the posts in this thread:

The technique to break it free could work for you too. Nothing to lose, so give it a try...could end up saving you some $$.

Do it!!! If it doesn't work, then no harm came from it. It worked for most people though, me included.

I tried it and it did not work. Just made it worse. Thats what caused the seat to be loose. I need another seat.
