Creaking Front Windows

Creaking Front Windows
My 2006 R53 has developed creaking from both front windows when they are fully up. Every little bump in the road and they creak like crazy. I'm certain it is caused by the glass rubbing against the rubber trim around the door aperture that the windows seal against when they are in the full up position. If I wind the windows down just half an inch the creaking stops.
I have tried putting some silicone on the rubber seal to provide some lubrication, but it doesn't help. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?
Many thanks

From another forum I have had 2 suggestions, yet to be tried.
1. Sometimes the windows need to be reset. In other words they stop going up as far as they should and consequently aren't as tight against the rubber as they should be. I have been told that if you wind the window up and hold the toggle switch in the up position for about 10 seconds that the window will reset.
2. The window guides in the door have moved out of alignment, thus causing the glass not to seal properly against the rubber. This involves removing the door panels to make the adjustment.
As I say, I haven't yet tried either of these 2 suggestions, but I will post the results when I have. Obviously I'll be trying option 1 first.
Thanks to those who have offered help. I troed cleaning the rubber and using talc, but it didn't seem to help.
