2010 Cooper S Mayfair Oil Bottom of Tail Pipe

Hello. I have never had a vehicle where I saw black oil at the bottom of my exhaust pipe. Found it today. New car from Mini. Called Mini repair in Tampa, Fl and awaiting their call back. Has anyone else experienced this, I cannot see where this is normal??

Oil or soot?
Pretty common to see black soot from a rich fuel mixture.

And when the soot mixes with the water vapor from the exhaust you get the black liquid that can wrap around the bottom of the exhaust tips, which looks like oil.

It's exhaust soot. Now breathe please. Deep breaths.
Your car is ok

If it were enough oil for you to see at the tailpipe, your catalytic converters would have clogged and failed and the car would be nearly undrivable

I have it too, like everyone says, it's just soot mixed with water vapor.
