Help with A/C problem

Help with A/C problem
2005 MCSC with 41K miles.
A/C not blowing cold.
Radiator fan not running at low speed when A/C on (replaced radiator fan assembly today!)
If left idling with A/C on the high speed fan will come on for about 15 seconds once every 2 minutes or so.
PS pump fan comes on when high speed radiator fan is on. (PS pump and fan replaced < 2K miles ago)
A/C system holding about 60lbs of pressure (according to cheap gauge)
Thought replacing the radiator fan assembly (specifically the resistor) was going to fix it - but it didn't.
What to try next? Is 60lbs low?

60 lbs is high for the low side and low for the high side, so that depends. You have to look for a fan fuse, often called the "condensor fan" (or obviously it may be called low speed). If you have not checked, you may still have a quick fix for the fan.
Regarding the charge, I only recommend using the juice with a dye in it. They say you need a black light, but the stuff is like dayglow paint, so the light is great for fast diagnosis, but once a bunch comes out it is easy to see.
Any leak will just leak again, so you might as well try to find it. If the cheap gauge was on a can, that is the low side and sort of reads the can pressure until the compressor is sucking in the juice. If you don't hear the compressor coming on, you need to try to jump the switch, then after that, you just need a compressor.
Others may have more info than me.

Update: Added R134a (with a DIY kit) and now its blowing cold. Before adding refrigerant the compressor clutch was engaging but the low speed radiator fan was not running. Once there was enough refrigerant in the system the (new) radiator fan started running at low speed. Should have done the refrigerant add first - probably didn't need the new fan.

However... I also put a gauge on the low pressure side and it read in the "OK" range and then I feared adding more r134a since well, wouldn't too much be bad?
Cautiously,
