Squeky Belt

My car = 2003 MCS 88,000 miles, I have owned it for 3 weeks now.

4 days ago I found a can of Gunk Belt conditioner in the garage.

Although I was not having any problem with squeaking, I thought it would be a good idea to just go ahead and spray some on, I didn't follow the directions and sprayed a good deal on(the instructions said one small spray next to a pulley) , well guess what.... it's been squeaking like crazy now.

As a test, I just went out a poured some liquid soap on the belt, the squeak went away(for now)

I am going to assume that I need a new belt. yes/no??

I have a question.

are the belts they carry at Napa good enough? I have a stock pulley.
