I just had the annual New York State inspection (which is essentially an OBD read) on my '04 MCS. They did not mention any fault codes. Not 50 miles later, as the odo rolls over 75,000 miles, the SES light pops on. Car is running great, although now garaged as I await delivery of my Scangauge II.

I don't have a code reader, but fluids look ok.

A search of these forums don't indicate a correlation between maintenance intervals and the SES light. Am I too paranoid for thinking there might be?
