CV Boot Torn
Hey everyone, I recently discovered my passenger side inner CV boot has a 1 inch tear in it. I found the replacement kit online however I can't seem to find any info on how to replace it. I did find someone on the forum who managed to repair the boot with a rubber patch kit and RTV, which is an option for me, but I would still prefer to do it correctly.
Has anyone messed with this before? Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
J.D.

Its not difficult to the Passenger CV shaft out. Unbolt the centre bearing and and the axle nut. You may need to disconnect the sway bar link but you should be able to get it out. You can then remove the shaft.
If you take the boot off and use a CV joint tool you can hammer it off with a sharp blow. Clean it, grease it and install new boot
