I was always taught to bleed from the farthest point and work your way to the closest point to the master cylinder. That would be rr, lr, rf, lf. Then we would work on the clutch slave after all the brakes were done.
That's Randy's method as well.

I agree about starting farthest place first but, thought I read that the clutch has a seperate line from the brake reservoir to the clutch slave. Inorder to avoid any back contamination from the clutch while bleeding the brakes, thought I'd bleed the clutch first. Probably wouldn't get enough old fluid into the brake line to make any difference.

Haven't seen any info. from Randy about bleeding the clutch. I'll wait to see if he responds here and if not I'll post question on his website.

Ya'll are great! I'll not worry about the ignition being on. Now HERE's a dumb question.... where is the bleeder for the Slave? In fact where is the Slave??

I've never done this procedure before (OBVIOUSLY), I recognize the Master, but not the Slave.

Thanks!

Two different Service Tech's at two different dealerships confirmed the order of bleeding for me. As was offered here, RR,LR, RF, LF THEN Clutch slave. Thanks to all who offered advice.

BTW, any one unsure of where to find the clutch slave, under the drivers side, hidden by the plastic protective cover (or skid plate if you've installed one) bottom drivers side of the tranny. On my 04 the bleed screw is black plastic and it faces up, a little hard to see at first. 11mm wrench needed, as opposed to the 10mm on the caliper bleed screws.

Tomorrow morning I will to try to help my close friend in his street/track RSX-S change his stock lines out with some stainless ones and new ATE Superblue fluid. I might have to ask on here for some directions or advice if things seem "iffy". I have never done it before either, especially on a RSX-S, but I am assuming things will be very similar to a MINI.
