I got my MCS last Friday, no lights inside when I open the doors, I was told that the computer had to be programmed at service shop. There was a spill of some kind with white residues close to the fire wall and the coolant reservoir. Finally, the heater fan stopped working the second day. I also hear some kind of a cracking noise, it is quite loud and sounds like cooling metal, its sounds every minute or so.
I have 385 miles on the car... :???:

You aren't going to stand for that, are you? Who is your dealer?

I took the car to the dealer, the whole dash had to be removed, they worked on the car alll the afternoon, they did not find the problem for the blower, came back home with courtesy car. Let see what they find tomorrow.

I was told the internal resistances of the blower were faulty, a new blower was installed but it still doesn't work. Another day in the complimentary car, a Mazda protege 5, nothing to compare with MCS. :???: :???: :???:
I wish I get it back soon, I had it for three days and 285 miles.

lulu is fixed, it took 2 days, the blower was faulty and had to be replaced. Service appears to be good, That BMW garage is huge, I wish I do not get prestigious bills for maintenance.

On the road again, what a pleasure after 2 days in the Mazda.

My Cooper's AC fan blower just stopped working as well on Saturday. 7800 miles on the car. Called the dealer service. Said he'd need the car for a day or two. (No courtesy car for a MINI :???: )

I've heard of at least two other persons who "burnt out" the blower motor as well. I'll update with results afetr it goes in the shop next week.
