I've never heard of driving for a minute or two after resetting the flat tire indicator. It would be best to sit still so there is no harmonic noise already present in the tires (unless the manual says otherwise). After holding the button for like 30 seconds, the light will go out just a few seconds later. Then the first few miles driven will be sensed, and the computer will relearn the current harmonic noise pattern present in the tires.
P.S. - The indicator should be reset any time a change in pressure is made in your tires (including topping them off), or if the tires are rotated, regardless of whether the light is on (in most cases, it will come on eventually, anyway). If the indicator is not lit up, it will light up for a few seconds, then go back out.
