I'm looking for some feedback on someone who has the MINI repair manual by Bentley publishers.

How thorough is it? Does it go through the entire process of each repair step by step?

I have the BMW/MINI TIS program. I must say it's a pain to use. For example wanting to remove the supercharger it shows only how to remove it and none of the steps to get there. It is done in a manner as if the engine was not in the vehicle.

I have a factory service manual for another vehicle that goes through every step for each repair very thoroughly with diagrams and torque specifications. I was hoping the Bentley manual would be similar.

 

Bentley is very good. AFAIK, it's the manual of choice.

 

I see some on ebay in the $80 range. I'll have to pick one up.

 

The Bentley manual is the best manual avail for the MINI. It's like having the factory service manual. Plus the new version includes the diagnostic manual and is hard bound.
