Manual transmission does not "center" in neutral
Hey everyone,
Weird issue on my manual 2006 Cooper. The gear shift no longer "centers" between 3rd and 4th when in neutral. That is, typically there is a spring-like feeling when the transmission is neutral that moves the gear shift to the center of the H pattern. That stopped happening.
Transmission itself seems fine, so am hoping it is an easy fix. I'm good with tools, if people can describe where to look. Couldn't find anything when searching on the forum. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Adam
