SES and ASC lights on

For a couple weeks now the ASC light has been coming on. it only happens when I'm getting on the highway. Due to a short on ramp I have to run the rpms almost to redline. the light will come on when shifting from 3rd to 4th. it resets each time after turning the car off so i heavent really bothered with it. Today though when i got on the highway someone wanted to play a little. I was in 4th at about 6500 rpm when the SES and ASC lights came on. the SES light remains on while the ASC has reset. have to take the car in now and have the code read car runs fine though

I've just developed almost the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

my SES light had gone off but it came back on yesterday. seems to only happen when i run it at high rpms in 3rd or 4th gear. I haven't had a chance to have it checked out yet.
