According to the dealership, clutch is almost gone. Engagement is pretty high off the floor yet the clutch grabs fine. I have Spec clutch. I'm hoping I can adjust the pedal but I want 2nd opinion before I order a new clutch/flywheel
If the dealership hadn't said anything to you, would you have noticed anything wrong with the clutch?
Continue to drive it until its performance becomes unacceptable to you. A clutch should never be replaced too early; it's just throwing money away.
Well, I haven't driven a mini before and on top of that, it has an aftermarket clutch. With my other cars, I adjusted my clutch pedal after installing aftermarket clutch. I wasn't sure if dealership was being honest or if simple adjustment would do the trick.
^that.
i ran my clutch until my car would hardly move.
theres a few ways to tell if its going the easiest for me was to get on the highway and put it in the highest gear and step on it. if the car doesnt go anywhere and just revs up youre going to need a clutch soon.

The Spec clutch may have a different engagement point than the original clutch, just follow the advice already given--drive it until it shows a real problem.
