All of the seat adjustments don't work

Can't move the seats forward of backwards (yes, both mechanisms have failed...). When I lift them I don't feel anything, it's like something just got disconnected

The passenger seat has the thing broken that allows you to change the angle of the seatback too, so people can't get in to the back...real annoying

Any ideas?

Take them out and fix them?

The seats are only held in with 4 bolts and a couple of plugs, so they're pretty easy to get out. If you turn them over you should see what's come undone and how to fix it....

Off topic....but I'd like to see pics of the E-typ

But don't you have to move the seat in to a certain position so you can get access to the bolts for removal?

that was one thing I had fixed under warranty, repaired/ replaced both seat mechanisms. I did read about someone taking their seat out and fixing it by bending something on here,NAM (might find it by a search). Before taking the seats out disconnect the battery .

This happened to me. My drivers seat doesn't recline so I can't even adjust it to my level of comfort when driving. But it will move forward so people can climb in thd back. It just doesn't move backwards ..... taking it to the dealer I'm hoping warranty will cover it.

To remove seats, they will have to be able to slide from full front to full back.
2 bolts in front, 2 in back. T35 if I'm not mistaken.

look under the seats, all the levers and mechanisms are connected via cables with barrel ends on them (like bicycle brake cables), and sometimes the barrel end pops out of place! (check it out on the outer underside of the seat and youll see what im talking about).
