03 MCS will not turn on! Urgent.
So the past few weeks (it would happen like once every 2 weeks) Id turn the car off and then it would not turn back on, id have to go to the battery and unplug the positive and plug it back in then it would turn on (and everything gets reset)
It has been bothering me but today it was worse.
Today I turned off the car, then it wouldnt turn on, I unplugged the positive and plugged it back in, then it worked but every time I turn the car off now it does the same exact thing. I dont want to have to keep shoving my hand under the back seat and pulling the backdoor eject button and taking reseating the cable every time I start my car.
What is the problem here? The battery was replaced a few months ago with a redtop 34r.
edit:
Some more information. When it turns off and doesnt turn back on it doesnt even make an ignition sound, when you turn the key it does nothing.
edit #2:
Actually could it be that my bolt broke on my positive terminal and it just sits on the battery its not tightened? i mean its definetly not coming off its touching its just not fully tight.

I would definitely check the prongs that go to the battery terminal.
If not, try a different battery. For as good as these red-tops are supposed to be, I've had one fail in less than 6 months on me.

Just fixed the issues, mod please delete this thread.
The problem was the positive terminal was loose and i didnt have another bolt since they are retarded bolts and you cant buy them separately.
The fix? Instead of chopping off my positive terminal this is what I did
I took the bolt off of my negative terminal and used it on my positive, and I cut off my negative terminal and put a new universal terminal on it
WIN!
