Just bought a 2006 mini with 22,000 miles. Radio was working well but then quit suddenly and now has no power. When it rains I have water dripping onto floor (especially on passenger side under glove box and onto floor and speaker. Looking for service in Ohio near Medina or Akron. Don't want to drive all the way to Willoughby. Everyone I call says they don't do mini's. Any good advice???

 

Any chances the windshield has been recently replaced ? I always have mine done at the dealer. Clips and the OEM black lexan A panel covers which tend to break and crack are just two steps away.

Could be it was not installed properly........if it has to be done again and dealer is too far away, find a replacement company who has an installer who knows MINI's and buy the top black strip from the dealer. The stuff off the roll is pretty crappy. Would be good idea to have some extra trim clips on hand too.

Installers always break off a few, and never have replacements off the van.

BTW: If your 06 was purchased from a dealer of sorts, go back as this should be on their dime.....
