Oil leak help
I'm new to the forum and just days ago purchased a 09 MCS with 38k miles. Being a first time Mini owner I have no idea how the motor is agganged and would like help identifing where my oil leak is comming from. The leak is on the passenger side near the belt. It drips off a bolt onto the CV boot then onto the lower control arm where it pools untilit drips to the ground. It's creating an oil spot about 3" in diameter overnight. Where is the coming from? Does anyone have a diagram of the engine? it would be a great help in identifing where the leak could be happening.
Thanks for you time.

Take a look at this:

Perhaps you can find it in the schematic.

So I took the mini S into the dealer today. They said I had a leaky water pump and no oil leak. They replaced a water pump and installed a new chain tensioner. I'm happy with the warantee service. I also paid to have the fuel injection cleaned $100 and decarbonized $100. It's a four hour round trip drive for me to the closest dealer so I hope it's all fixed.
