I'm still trying to figure out the electronics in my car, stemming from a disable message on my head unit. I took the trim off today to discover this surprise. It's in the passenger (US) side foot well. On the bottom of this aluminum piece there is a green harness and a white harness. The corrosion is mainly centered around the white harness. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice for dealing with it? Thanks in advance.

Yup seen it before. Either the windshield leaks, the sunroof, or even the seal at the top of the A pillar.
