Loose "plug" in hole below fog lamp on R50
Hey guys, not sure exactly what the function or name of this part is. Right below the fog lights on my '06 R50 ,there are holes about the same size. Inside is a plug that looks like it's slatted and vented but is actually solid. On the passenger side, this thing has been knocked loose somehow (not sure, I haven't hit anything.) and is rattling around in there.
You can see what I'm talking about in m sig pic. If it's unclear I will figure out how to post another photo.
My questions are:
1) what is the easiest way to get at this thing?
2) does it just clip/twist into place like some of the interior trim rings, or is something probably broken
3) does it serve any purpose?
Thanks in advance!

If you take the fender liner off on that side it will probably almost fall out. It's just a decorative plug to fill the hole. If you look at my thread under the how to section (Cooper Serpentine Belt Replacement) it shows how to take the fender liner out and in one of the photos you will see where the plug goes. Mine was just loose for some reason and snapped back in.
