Headlight Alignment Question

I can't seem to get my headlight alignment correct on my '02 MCS. If I adjust my low beams correctly, my high beams are in the trees. If I get the high beams right my lows are practically shining on my bumper. I have looked though my Bentley manual and they just call out the left right / up down adjustment of the housing but I can't find anything on adjusting the relationship between the high & low beams. Is this adjustable? Any idea on how to fix?

are you doing this because you changed the bulbs? Reason I ask is I had a similar problem when I changed a set of bulbs and they were not correctly seated in the sockets.... If not properly aligned and flush in the sockets they don't line up to the reflectors correctly. I had one low beam going off to never never land until I found the problem and reseated it. Mine was an 02 as well . . . the clip snapped down fine, but the bulb was not flush in the holder.... as I recall there is an alignment tab that you need to ensure drops into a slot . . . 02s were a lil different from later years in this regard. All was fine b4 I changed the bulbs so I knew I shouldn't need to actually mess with the light unit's settings....

+ 1 on what the Capt said, also different bulbs throw different patterns, took me over a week to get mine right adjusting them everynight.

Do the adjustment screws adjust the daytime running lights or the xenon lights? Which screw does what? Looks like the inboard screw adjusts up/down according to the manual. Correct?
