o2 sensors
Miniacs! Hello friends.....
I believe I am ready to replace the sensors in "Gossamer" as I am getting ODBII codes for post cat O2 errors.
My question is do we need to use the dealer $220 version or is the Bosch O2 sensor from APW just as workable? With no disrespect to vendors here.....they are offering their $175 o2 sensor for $67.
Also, anything special about the fuel filter? I was going to replace it as well. There are clearly two price points on that one also....
As always...your input was solicited...and much appreciated!

(you think you have problems now)
I've run across a few of them already

I heard that too. There was a trouble shooting thread and after doing a bunch of things, replacing the O2 sensor with a mini one solved the issues.
It was maybe 5 months ago. Personally I LOVE to save, but I think I would make sure to get one that is known to work. Sometimes the cheapest way is to spend more money in the beginning.

I appreciate the feedback. Couple of points I am considering in light of your input and maybe you can both weigh in again.....
Bosch was the original manufacturer of the O2 sensor, so how "bad" could a Bosch replacement be for that part.....
The list price of the one I am considering is actually $175 so it does not feel like the cheap replacement. It has 3 reviews and was a specific search for the MINI so I hope the 3 positive reviews are relatively trustworthy.
According to the code it's only the post-cat sensor so maybe I flip the $67 on just one for now, see if it clears it up (long enough to pass smog) and then see what the longevity is on the one. I will report back on the one.....
RMW - When you say some will NOT work.....would it cause any other issues or just have the same result of the broken one in there?
Lastly, do you have to or is it advisable to replace both pre and post CAT O2s at the same time or is it irrelevant?
Thanks again guys!
