The R from COOPER fell off the back of my girlfriend's MINI. Any tips about the best way to glue it back on? How should I clean the surface, and what glue should I use to put it back on? Is it better to do it when its not too cold out etc?

Wipe the surface with alchool to clean out the area. 3M double sided tape should do the trick (Something nice and thick)

 

A place like Autozone will have 3M Emblem Tape I used this stuff to rebadge my xterra, works great.

 

Why does it seem weird to me that I'm reattaching this with tape?!? I'm confused. Is it transparent, or do I cut it to the shape of the letter? This is really better than glue?

 

REally all you need are very small pieces at the ends of the letter, the tape is designed for this purpose, its hold is amazing.

 

I think that 3M emblem tape is the same or similar to what they actually use to put it on in the first place.

Alternatively you could remove the rest of the letters. A naked boot is a happy boot.
