Fix for scratch on a-pillar? roof?
I don't have time to grab pictures, and heading for MOTD this afternoon so doubt I can get photos up till Monday but I will try. Maybe I can find a few minutes to do it between work and hitting the road.
When I took delivery there was a scratch on the exterior a-pillar. Last night I was trimming a stripe on my roof and nicked a tiny scratch in my roof. It is small but I know I will obsess over it. The one on the pillar is wide and shallow with a gray-ish look. The one on the roof is small, narrow, and deeper than the other.
Any way to fix these?
Thanks for the help! I apologize if this has been answered somewhere, but I only found paint scratches when I searched.

Is it down to the base coat? If not, try something not too crazy like Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 and apply it by hand with a cotton applicator. I've used this on my A and C pillars with success before. It needs to be worked with some finesse. If this doesn't help at all they must be really deep. You'd have to resort to something with a bit more abrasive power. I wouldn't go as far as using rubbing compound though unless you want to create a big job for yourself buffing all the imperfections from the compound out.
Pictures would really help here.
