Toggle switch problem!

06 - driving home yesterday with my windows down...got home, went to roll (switch?) my windows up..and the entire toggle panel stopped working.

the lights on the panel aren't working. the panel only does something on the drivers side, window up motion (i hear a clicking)

anyone have any ideas? I haven't been under the dash of late modding anything. This happened spontaneously.

I searched the forum, but this seems unique. can't find any threads on the whole panel not working, unless it's tied to one fuse that i'm not seeing.

is it possible that the connector on the back was jarred loose? I did hit a monster of a pothole on the way home.

Any suggestions are appreciated before I take the dash apart to get to the panel and start futzing with it.

thanks!!

The entire thing not working should be good news since it really sounds like the plug in the back is loose. You have to just look and see.

No need to remove the panel to check...
Just find the instructions for the ian cull auto up kit...
And it will explain how to reach in and check the plug (minus the auto-up).
Fes-auto maybe be selling the newest one...and have the instructions....

Given the mechanical locking nature of the OEM switch, I can't imagine it coming loose unless you've disconnected it before, but definitely try the easy stuff first.

200 at the wheels - maybe the torque broke it loose.
