the computer readout on my tach. on 02 r53 not working. Once in a great while it will pop on and works perfectly when it does but soon goes blank again. anyone had this happen ? could it be a ground or should I just replace the unit ? thanks kenny

 

Sorry, bro. When My blinkers work, my heat/AC don't. And vice versa. Before Easter, It worked fine. When my blinkers stop working, I turn the ignition on and off then they work again. Puzzled! Good luck.

 

I've got the same problem with the computer readout in my tach unit. It also has some "scrambled" image to the right of the normal display area. It works when it wants to and I want it to work all the time. I guess the easiest solution is to purchase a used unit......does anyone know if all the tachs for 2002 base Cooper have the computer display or only certain units so I can know which unit to purchase? Thanks

 

The OBC was an option. Not sure if its part of the tach assembly itself or an ecu programming option.
