rpm specific engine power loss

I am experiencing some weird power loss between 2,500 and 3,200 rpms.
It usually just occurs in blips right at 3100, and powerloss is not constant.
Throttle level does not affect when it occurs, but if it is happening and you floor it, almost nothing happens %50 of the time, and the other 50% the engine almost immediately "stalls" itself and then kicks back in with a vengeance (this mainly occurs when the loss is a blip, and during acceleration, if not accelerating, it will just "hiccup" as i call it), causing you to lurch forward and then back into the seat.

As i said, its not 100% consistent, and it gets worse with warmer weather, with the issue almost non-existent below 50 Fahrenheit

I have a few codes to go with it
A secondary manifold absolute pressure low input,
yet the scan gauge reads 15lbs at redline in second. and 10 lbs in every gear at 3000, and i replaced the tmap.

and a p0136 (post cat, i have a bosch installed, ntk is comming...)
and a p1688 (cat below efficiency)

there was one other code, which popes up when a really violent lurch occurs and it puts the car into limp mode... but i cant remember what it is...

I took it to the dealer to get diagnosed, and he said it was most likely the camshaft position sensor.
Ordered one from mini-mania, installed it and that other code went away, and has not come back since, even when the car went into limp mode the other day.

The engine stops so sharply its almost as if the the throttle body closed and created a vacuum and then re-opens. Is this possible? shouldn't I see a throttle body code?
could it be a bpv issue? I have the detroit tuned one, and had the VGS system setup on it, and when this started happening, I removed the VGS, but it still occurred...

any suggestions are welcome.. I'm a college student, so $$$ is not of great abundance.

How are the plugs and air filter? It is pretty common to start trouble shooting with the basics.

haha. They are fine. This is a vacuum related issue. weather its caused by a bad bpv or a leak in my vacuum system will be the fun part to diagnose.
