Help with 2009 Clubman S Carbon Issue

My 2009 Clubman S check engine light went off this week. It has 25,000 miles on it. I drive it a lot, about 500 miles a week (mostly highway @ 60+ MPH). The dealer had it for 3 days. Below is the exact transcript of what is on the repair invoice. In short they performed a carbon clean of the valves, clened combustion chamber and fuel injection, replaced the spark plugs, AND UPDATED SOFTWARE. I'm a little worried that this will happen again when it is out of warranty. They said to add fuel additive every 3000 miles (i.e. Techron). Anyone else have this issue? How common is it and will the Techron additive solve the problem? Is high mileage driving of the mini not a good idea? Finally, what is a "TC CASE"? Sorry for all the questions, but need to know how big a problem this is. THANKS!!!!

INVOICE(09JUN11):
25532 INTERROGATED FAULT MEMORY AND FOUND FAULTS 2773,277F,2777 AND 277B. MISFIRES ON ALL CYLINDERS DURING WARMUP. PERFOMED MISFIRE TEST PLAN. PERFORMED BASIC CHECKS. R/I PLUGS AND COILS. INSPECTED PLUGS AND COILS. CHECKED GOOD. VISUALLY CHECKED FUEL LINES AND INTAKE TRACK. CHECKED GOOD.CHECKED FUEL PRESSURE AT TIEM OF FAULTS. FUEL PRESSURE GOOD. BULLETIN STATES THAT WITH VEHICLE BELOW 35000 MILES TO TERMINATE CURRING ISID SESSION AND PERFORMED ANOTHER SHORT TEST WITH VEHICLE RUNNING. THEN SUBMIT TC CASE. PERFORMED ANOTHER SHORT TEST AND SUBMITTED TC CASE. TC STATED TO REMOVE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD AND CHECK THE CARBON LEVELS OF THE VALVES. R/I INTAKE MANIFOLD 11 61 050. FOUND CARBON LEVEL TO BE ABOVE SPEC. TC STATED TO PERFORM CARBON CLEAN WITH CARBON BLASTER. PERFORMED CLEANING OF THE VALVES WITH WALNUT CARBON BLASTER 11 99 000 7 FRU. TC THEN STATED TO PERFORM THE FUEL INJECTION AND COMBUSTION CHAMBER CLEANING. 13 99 00010 FRU CLEANING THE INJECTORS AND COMBUSTION CHAMBERS. AFTER COMPLETION TC STATED TO REPROGRAM THE VEHICLE WITH THE LATEST SOFTWARE VERSION. PROGRAMMED AND CODED WITH THE CAS 61 00 720. TEST DROVE VEHICLE. OPERATING AS DESIGNED. TC CASE 46348347.

There's tons of info on this carbon buildup issue, I think the only other option is to SeaFoam your mini before every oil change
