2005 MCS - Loose Steering Wheel - Help!!!!

My 2005 MCS steering wheel just started to feel loose today. When I say loose, the steering wheel itself is loose, not the steering itself, ie. there does not seem to be any play in the actual steering, it feels like the wheel is physically going to fall off the drive shaft.

If I grab the wheel on the right and left side, it will rock back and forth if I push and pull in opposite directions. If I pull the steering wheel towards me with both hands there does not seem to be any play. The same if I turn the wheel left or right. It seems ok.

Any ideas? Could the bolt be a little loose? The steering wheel can't fall off I assume. The bolt seem quite substantial. I am out of town and need to drive it a couple of hundred miles to home. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ilies/eek2.gif
