Stupid codes...

P2B22......

Get it occasionally immediately upon a cold start. Car starts and idles fine when it happens though...nothing mechanically or audibly would seem any different. Does not cause a CEL, just the "half engine" light on the tach. Clear it with the AccessPort and it never comes back...until it decides to randomly pop up during another start.

Anyone seen it? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone??

The codes that the R56 spits out drive me up a wall

Stock, tuned, jcw turbo, old motor, new motor....doesn't matter, gotten various dme codes on each of those instances.

And for what its worth...I'm not even running an RMW tune at the moment. I'm on Alta cuz its around 110 out and I want lower boost until I get my meth kit.

For those that were just dying to know....lol, found out an answer.

2B22 is the DME code for the throttle valve actuator, and will result in an additional P-code of P1631 which is a fault in the opening/closing of the throttle actuator.

Stupid R56

I'm getting the P1631 code. Bentley manual says it's the throttle body. Bentley manual also says that the throttle plate adaption values must be reset or the engine does not start. Is this correct?

I'm using the Torque app that can read and clear the codes, but I don't believe it can reset the throttle plate values.
