Deeza Chassis Parts Not Good for MINIs
Over the last year or so I've had to replace various suspension components on my MINI. I opted to give Deeza chassis parts a try for many of the components, thinking the parts would still be decent and I could save some money. Turns out, it's a poor choice for your MINI.
The tie rods, which have only been on for about 5 months already have more rust than the 8 year old tie rods they replaced.
The worst problem I've run into is the Deeza front stabilizer bar links are designed in such a way that the joints where they mount to the stabilizer bar stick out too far and actually rub against the CV axle under braking and turning. The rubbing has worn away part of the protective coating on the CV axle.
Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone out there to save you the headache of doing a repair twice.
These parts are covered under warranty, so I'm hoping for a refund so I can replace with a different, more reliable brand...
