My motor mounts on my 03 cooper are shot after 108,000 miles of wear on them. So I have two questions:
Are the mounts from later models of coopers compatible? my cooper doesn't have the hydraulic mounts like the later models; mine are just solid Rubber.

Second, I've noticed on the later models they don't have the Upper motor mount attached to the strut tower.

the two mounts on the left of the picture are what i'm talking about.

 

anyone, I'm kind of stuck buying new motor mounts until i get some input
