no break wear sensors when replacing brakes...

no break wear sensors when replacing brakes...

i looked around to see if anyone else has come across this but came up empty.

when i replaced my rotors and pads last weekend i never found any brake pad wear sensors front or back. i have an 03 justacooper.

Early cars did not have the sensors.
Not sure when they were added.

That's fine with me. One less thing to worry about. I look mine over every time I rotate, and you can easilly see the outer pad through most if not all wheels (inner pad often wears more on single piston sliding setups, though). I visual the outer pad every time I check tire pressure, which is at least once per month.
