Go OEM. It's most probably a Denso.

Most coopers had a veleo .2 differant amp/version i think...
Most coopers s had the denso....105 amp...
But does not matter...you must basicly go with the same desgin...
So go with a quality part..aftermarket or not...
A cheap rebuilt bought at an online place is just that...cheap...you get what you pay for...
More than one member has bought a cheap one with a lifetime warrenty, only to go through 2 , then give up, and buy an oem...labour get $$...even for a diy, time and shipping gets pricy when you include down time.
Some sites list more than one quality rebuild...a standard and a better..
The oem/oem would be listed as best....compared to shop time, (doing it multiple times, down time, maybe a rental car), the parts cost is cheap...
just my 5¢'s....(2¢ adjusted for inflation, and qe1, 2, and 3).

the denso 105a does not have the same connectors as the valeo, so make sure which one you got!

2 cents adjusted for inflation? That's hilarious.

Zip nailed it.

But BOSCH reman alernators are available from aftermarket sources. Most if not all the remans MINI sells now even for the original Denso's are BOSCH units.
