P0172 - Troubleshooting help needed

Hi all,

2006 MCS

I am getting a P0172 code (bank 1 too rich) intermittently. I've noticed the car becomes difficult to drive from a stop when hot. In other words, off-idle throttle tip-in seems compromised and the car sputters a bit and doesn't accelerate as it should. Above 4k rpm everything seems fine.

I've tried cleaning the TMAP sensor and have checked the plugs (seemed ok). I'm thinking maybe the fuel pressure regulator or O2 sensor is going bad, but curious if anyone else has had this problem before I start throwing parts at it.

Thanks!
Mike
